Hello again, This page basically tells you my life story, career wise that is. It all started in 1979, when I began my apprenticeship with British Gas. I continued to work for BG as a service engineer for a further 9yrs before I went travelling for a year or two. On my return, whilst still working as a gas engineer, I completed the City&Guilds in air conditioning and refrigeration, and then went on to university to complete teacher training in further education. I worked in Brixton lecturing for a year or two, before taking employment with CORGI as an area inspector for London and the south east. During all this period of time I still continued to work on the tools as and when I could, spending a few years working as self employed, working for STOVES, CALOR, and various other large clients, I then went to work with one of my former colleagues from CORGI at VAILLANT. This was where I really learnt and cut my teeth in the boiler industry, maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting on new and old boilers spanning a manufacturing period of 30yrs. Once fully accomplished in this aspect of the industry, I then went on to become a direct service agent for VAILLANT, carrying out work on their behalf, for Domestic & General service contract schemes, as well as warranty breakdowns and out of warranty repair calls. I now lecture at Intaplumb, training gas engineers for ACS accreditation, and NVQ level 3 apprenticeships as well as continuing with the business I know best….. FIXING AND REPAIRING VAILLANT BOILERS.!! The logos on the right are some of the current, and relevant qualifications I hold. |
